Due to recent guidelines, courses may be taken online in a virtual classroom. Please be sure to read the Additional Information Section below to ensure you are able to complete the course(s) in their entirety. Heart Plus Services has been serving So California since1995. Reimbursement forms are available for certain counties. Our trainings are approved by the proper agencies and kept up to date as required. Partnered agencies are: American Heart Association (AHA), EMSA, and HSI.
Our instructors have years of experience in teaching our curriculums. They are knowledgeable, approachable, friendly, fun and energetic. Such traits make each course enjoyable and easy to learn and retain information.
Due to the nature and length of the course, no children are permitted. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a picture ID such as DL or passport.
Due to the social distancing guidelines, no in person courses will be held. All classes are available to be completed virtually via Zoom. Please ensure that you are able to download the necessary requirements to run the app/program prior to your class date and time. Heart Plus will not allow anyone into the zoom meeting 15 minutes past the scheduled start time to ensure everyone is receiving all information given. All fees and polices below still stand.
Once the course is paid, you will be provided a URL and meeting code to your class. You are not required to sign up or log in but may do so if you wish. Once in the meeting please provide your full name (first and last) so that we may have accurate records.
Health and Safety: Certificate will be mailed after class completion.
CPR/FA: Online course completion certificate will be emailed. Hands on skills evaluation must be completed to receive your completion card. Details will be given once registered.
REFUND AND RESCHEDULE POLICY
*Admittance for late arrivals, up to 15 minutes, will be up to the discretion of the instructor. Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late or do not show up will forfeit funds paid and will NOT be granted a refund or reschedule until full tuition is secured again.
*You may request to reschedule with at least 2 business days (M-F) and excluding holidays, of your class. Heart Plus will allow up to 3 reschedules at no additional cost. Thereafter, rescheduling will require a $20 transfer fee each time.
*If you need to cancel your attendance to any class, we ask that you call or email with 2 or more business days prior to your course. You will receive a refund of your tuition minus a $30 administrative charge.
*Personal checks will not be accepted under any circumstances. Cash, money order or cashier's check will be accepted on the day of class for any outstanding balances. If you wish to pay by any major credit card, call between normal business hours prior to your class date.
*Should the location and/or date of a class change due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer the same course without additional payment on your date/time of choice.
*NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN OR CLASS RESCHEDULED with less than 2 business days notice (M-F and excluding holidays) prior to your scheduled class. NO EXCEPTIONS.
